Optical coherence tomography angiography shows an intact choriocapillaris flow in multiple evanescent white dot syndrome

It is always a pleasure reading a case report on multiple evanescent white dot syndrome (MEWDS), that despite being a very benign condition (‘‘a common cold of the retina’’ as described by Yannuzzi [1]) still poses some unanswered questions about its pathogenesis. Veronese et al. are to be complimented on this case presentation reporting a patient with bilateral MEWDS, a very rare occurrence.
