摘要

The object of this study is to describe, analytically and numerically, the acoustic wave scattering by the sea free surface. In the previous studies, the swell effects are limited to the sea free surface deformation. In this paper, we also want to take into account the effects of the fluid particles rotational motion upon the acoustic wave propagation. With this in view, we use the Lagrangian description. This method allows to avoid some mathematical and numerical difficulties. The numerical simulations show that the two principal parameters are the incident angle and the product kH of the acoustic wave number by the swell height. The results show that the fluid motion cannot be neglected for high kH values which may be obtained in realistic situations. [References: 8]
