摘要

Sound absorption by non homogeneous porous materials made up of random or regular arrays of porous media is calculated by two methods based upon a simple modeling of the acoustic field, and by the finite element method. The difference between absorption mechanisms in three-dimensional porous patchworks and simpler stratified materials is investigated. The importance of non-propagative mechanisms in sound absorption is enlightened.
