The changes in the world population and lifestyles caused the need for more advanced daily activity monitoring system. Among the key requirements includes ultraportable, easy to use, wireless and not disturbing free movements. This paper reports a newly developed foot clearance measurement system that satisfies the above requirement. The developed system was tested in our laboratory to verify its operation and applicability in performing the measurements. This report elaborates on how the testing system is developed and used in the verification process.
