摘要

Network Reconfiguration is an efficient method of turning on and off of distributed generation system at specific location to improve the efficiency of the system. Losses in the distributed systems are calculated using power flow calculation. This work deals about minimization of energy loss and improvement in bus voltage profile of the distribution system under reconfiguration environment. Capacitor bank and distributed generators are placed separately and the efficiency of these systems is compared. Optimal location and sizing of DG is determined for the minimization of the multi objective performance index (MOPI). The weighting coefficients are assigned for different technical issues and solved using a Chaotic Artificial Bee Colony (CABC) algorithm. In this paper, voltage dependent load models such as industrial, residential, and commercial are considered. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is validated by checking it on a 38-node.
