USTR's agenda lauds 'new era in American trade policy,' stresses U.S. leverage

President Trump has "launched a new era of American trade policy," the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative says in its newly released 2018 trade agenda, stressing strong ties between trade and national security and the United States' willingness and right to aggressively respond to Chinese policies.
