摘要

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has added a Chinese shopping mall in Toronto to its 2017 list of "notorious markets" for counterfeit and pirated goods while keeping the Chinese online shopping giant Taobao.com, owned by Alibaba, on its watch list. "Marketplaces worldwide that contribute to illicit trade cause severe harm to the American economy, innovation, and workers," USTR Robert Lighthizer said in a statement on the report, released on Jan. 12. "The Trump Administration is committed to holding intellectual property right violators accountable and intensifying efforts to combat counterfeiting and piracy."
