The iodine spot market price'held firm this week, although market participants have started to query how much inventory producers are holding. Fastmarkets assessed the weekly spot price for iodine, min 99.5%, at $26.50-29 per kg on Thursday April 4, flat week on week but up from $19.90-21 per kg in September 2017.
