The chemical grade chromite market remains quiet amid continuing volatility in metallurgical chrome ore prices, as well as a wide spread due to localized trading patterns. Prices for chemical grade chromite have been stable over recent weeks due to limited trading activity while most of the industry met in Paris for the Internal Chromium Development Association (ICDA) members meeting which took place in late April.
