Musings of a Foundryman Some Nice Moments, Some Less Nice ......

Fifty years of experience in the metal casting industry leaves behind one very far reaching resolve....Academic excellence, innovative technical and managerial skills .... all take back seat in front of safety of human beings. You generally do not find foundrymen writing their own autobiography, much less somebody else finding it worthwhile to write a biography of them. They evade the embarrassment by saying, they have been too busy to sit and do the work, since they are working foundrymen at even an advanced stage in life. While their story may not fill a book, their woes will fill volumes, and nice anecdotes a few paragraphs only. I thought let me make an attempt in the reverse order and keep the pathos to the end like typical 60's Indian movies.
