Income generation for women farmers through integrated farming systems: A successful case from Mandora village

Empowerment of women has emerged as an imperative issue for Indian economy. Social and economic empowerment through entrepreneurial skill of women is the key factor for overall development of any country. Women play substantial role in farming systemsbut are recognized only as invisible workers. To empower the women farmers economically viableenvironmentally sound and a sustainable, holistic all round approach through integrated farming system is the way forward.
