Effective Port Operations for Imported Fertilizers

摘要

India has been a net importer of fertilizers on regular basis. Hence, its handling at port(s) in an effective manner not only provides quality product of desired quantity at right place but also helps in optimisation of cost. The author has outlined the major parameters for effective port operations for finished fertilizers at discharge port(s). Infact, the paper is being prepared based on the experiences of fertilizer handling at various port(s) by the author.
