Do sowing of cluster bean (Pusa Navbahar, Pusa Sadabahar) at seed rate 20-25 kg/ha. Farmers having salinity problem in water and soil (pH 7.5 to 8.0) can grow this crop.Do sowing seed of vegetable cowpea @ 20-25 kg/ha (Pusa Sukomal). Drill the seeds 2-3 cm deep in rows at 45-60 cm apart and later maintain 10-15 cm spacing between plants. Do not irrigate the field till seeds germinate.
