Silver Jubilee Year Celebration off Belapur Local Centre

Belapur Local Centre of the Institution celebrated its Silver Jubilee Year on February 28, 2020 at Belapur. Mr Narendra Singh, President, IEI graced the inaugural function as the Chief Guest. Other eminent dignitaries graced the function included Dr T M Gunaraja, Immediate Past President, IEI, Mr Sisir Kumar Banerjee and Mr S L Garg, Past Presidents, IEI, Dr H O Thakare, Mr M R Kothari, Dr H M Raje and Dr Mohan B Dagaonkar, Council Members, IEI, Mr K K Verkhedkar, Chairman, Belapur Local Centre and Council Member, IEI and Dr Samir Chandrakant Nimkar, Honorary Secretary, Belapur Local Centre. In his address, Mr Narendra Singh congratulated Belapur Local Centre for its completion of 25 years and highlighted about the importance of engineers in nation building and regarding their roles and responsibilities. Mr S L Garg recalled his memories and praised the Centre for its continuous progress. Dr Mohan B Dagaonkar explained about the activities of IEI which is in its Centenary Year and about Maharashtra State Centre. On this auspicious Silver Jubilee Documentary and a colourful Souvenir were also released by the dignitaries. Earlier, Mr K K Verkhedkar, Chairman, Belapur Local Centre welcomed the august gathering. Dr Samir Chandrakant Nimkar, Honorary Secretary, Belapur Local Centre proposed the vote of thanks.
