Urban Planning & Architectural Design for Sustainable Development

Hosur Local Centre of the Institution in association with the Department of Architecture, Adhiyanmaan College of Engineering, Hosur, organized a two-day All India Seminar on the theme 'Urban Planning & Architectural Design for Sustainable Development' under the aegis of Architectural Engineering Division, IEI, during August 18-19, 2017 at Hosur. The Chief Guest, Mr Kirti Sahoo, CEO, Centre for Research on Sustainable Building Science, Tata Energy & Research Institute, Bangalore, in his address, explained that concept of 'Sustainable Development in Urban Development and Architectural Design' should be implanted in the brains of the students in college level itself, so that, they would be conversant with the knowledge when they go in to the field work after their studies.
