摘要

Li+ co-activated Ba5(PO4)3Cl:Eu~(3+) generally called halo-apatite were prepared by solution method using ethylene glycol at low temperature (150 °C). Different Ba compounds such as BaHPCU and Ba5(PO4)3Cl were observed in this preparation process when the pH of the synthesis medium changed from pH 6 to 11.5. The prepared samples showed the five main emission peaks at 483, 592, 615, 652 and 698 nm; and with increasing pH value from 6 to 11.5 the emission intensity increases. The material can show the white, blue and yellowish-green emission colors when the sample was excited at different excitation wavelengths from 233 to 393 nm.
