The possibility of increasing the fault tolerance of a multi-trunk channel of real-time computer systems through application of inter-trunk packet forwarding is analyzed. Evaluation of the probability of preserving the full connection ofmulti-trunk networks with inter-trunk forwarding in the case of failures of the network adapters is considered.
