Method includes receiving, from controller via a data network, instructions for a first forwarding rule for initiating forwarding to first output port packets received via first input port and having a first feature. First forwarding rule is stored in memory. Method includes receiving, from controller via a data network, instructions for a second forwarding rule for initiating forwarding to second output port packets received via second input port and having a first feature.
