The month may come in like a lion, but this March, lambs will be born on Glenn and Elaine Wells' farm in Bay St. George South (Robinsons), on the west coast of Newfoundland.Their 16 ewes were bred in mid-October to a Polypay ram. "He did a wonderful job," Glenn says. "The vet was out three weeks ago (mid-January) and we're looking at a 190 percent lambing average."
