Wheatstone LNG’s frst cargo expected in October

Chevron’s 8.9mn t/yr Wheatstone LNG plant in Australia is now expected to load its frst cargo this month - the frst cargo was previously expected to load some time around 25 September. The Asia Venture vessel was initially scheduled to arrive at the Wheatstone export facility on 25 September, according to vessel tracking data and market participants. The vessel is at anchor off the port of Dampier in Western Australia, where the 4.3mn t/yr Pluto and 16.3mn t/yr North West Shelf facilities export their cargoes.
