Norway’s Troll summer 2018 maintenance revised

Maintenance at Norway’s 120mn m~3/d Troll field next summer has been rescheduled, with the heaviest production capacity cuts now expected to come in June rather than April. The field’s operator, state-controlled Statoil, has still detailed five periods of lower availability that are linked to offshore system operator Gassco’s planned 24 May halt. But Statoil cancelled one period planned for early to mid-May and announced for late May to early June. Production capacity will be restricted to some extent in every month next summer apart from July.
