Oil Search reports that the Antelope 7 gas appraisal well in PRL 15, located in the Gulf Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG) has encountered some problems that require a sidetrack to be drilled. Antelope 7 lies 1.4km west-southwest of the Antelope 5 well and was spudded on 2 November 2016 using the HA 115 rig. The probe's primary aim was to test for reservoir presence and definition on the western flank of the field.
