Tuapse to introduce seasonal restrictions

Rosneft’s products terminal at the Russian Black Sea port of Tuapse plans to introduce a seasonal size restriction on tankers from 1 November. Tuapse will not accept tankers larger than Long Range 1 (LR1) or 55,000- 79,000 dwt from this date. The restrictions may lead to higher freight costs and could restrict the geographical range of spot deliveries of refined products from the terminal - most of which head to Asia-Pacific.
