Deliveries of Turkmen crude through Russia’s Transneft pipeline system to the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk may resume in the fourth quarter. Shipments were suspended at the end of 2016. Trading firm United Petroleum is discussing supplying 10,000-15,000 t/month of Turkmen Cheleken Blend to Transneft through Russia’s Caspian Sea port of Makhachkala, market participants say - although this crude is not included in the pipeline operator’s fourth-quarter export schedule. And a Turkmen crude producer with a contract to export through Novorossiysk has made a request to restart shipments, Transneft vice-president Sergei Andronov says. Cheleken Blend is produced by Panama-registered Mitro International.
