Thailand’s palm kernel shell (PKS) imports in this year's frst quarter fell compared with a year earlier amid persistently tight supplies in Indonesia, which helped push up prices for fob east Sumatra PKS spot cargoes. Thailand imported 114,000t in the frst quarter, down by 20pc on a year year and 25pc below the fnal quarter of 2019.
