South Korean wood pellet imports slip further

South Korean imports of wood pellets fell sharply in November as new demand for domestic unused woody biomass has emerged from South Korean state-owned utilities this year. South Korea imported 242,000t of wood pellets in November, down by 33pc against the 359,000t imported in November 2018 and down by 3pc on the previous month.
