South Korea’s July wood pellet imports drop

South Korea’s wood pellet imports fell in July, as the country’s partially revised policy for renewable energy credits (RECs) reduced demand. South Korea imported 193,000t of wood pellets in July, down by 14pc on the previous year and 17pc down against the previous month. January-July imports were 1.57mn t, down by 15pc from the same period last year.
