Wood pellet throughput at the Canadian port of Prince Rupert in British Columbia (BC) rose to a July high, with at least four wood pellet shipments throughout the month. The Westview terminal, owned by Canadian pellet producer Pinnacle Renewable Energy, handled 142,000t of wood pellets in July, more than double the 70,000t loaded in July last year. Throughput also rose by 32.7pc on the month, making July the second-strongest month of this year.
