Wood pellet throughput at Canada’s port of Prince Rupert in British Columbia fell in the frst half 2019, as pellet production capacity was hampered by fres in February and May. The Westview terminal, owned by Canadian pellet producer Pinnacle Renewable Energy, handled 543,000t of wood pellets in the frst half, down by 5.9pc year on year.
