Pemex July asphalt output hits record low

Mexican state-run Pemex asphalt production hit a record low in July as crude throughputs across its refning system re-mained below-average. Asphalt production totaled 9,646 b/d in July, the lowest output level for the month since the energy ministry began re-porting data in 1990. This was a 34pc drop against the 14,700 b/d produced in July 2019. But month-on-month asphalt production grew slightly to about 9,650 b/d in July from 9,565 b/d in June.
