Crude throughputs among Canadian refneries were mostly steady at 1.67mn b/d during the week ended 25 February. Western Canada showed a decrease by taking 17,000 b/d less crude during the week, according to the Canada Energy Regulator (CER). The region processed an average of 560,000 b/d while utilization rates fell to 89pc, down by three percent- age points.
