摘要

An oil infused with particles of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) that could greatly enhance the ability of devices such as electrical transformers and microelectronic components to shed excess heat has been developed by researchers at Rice University. The university of Houston, Texas, USA, says that the findings could raise the efficiency of transformer oils in a way that is both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Transformers are filled with mineral oils that cool and insulate the windings inside, which must remain separated from each other to keep voltage from leaking or shorting.
