Lukoil decision next quarter on FLNG for E Guinea Fortuna

The first signs on whether Lukoil, the new operator of the Fortuna gas project off Equatorial Guinea, will decide on FLNG or pipeline for the project scenario could come as early as next month. The Russian firm has long been expected to take over the project, now in renamed deepwater Block EG-27, to add to its gas assets in Congo Brazzaville and Cameroon and that was confirmed last week.
