Invictus gets investor for Zimbabwean gas giant

Invictus Energy said it is still hopeful of farming down its Zimbabwean acreage and proving up gas for domestic supply with help from a new strategic investor. The Australian firm holds acreage in Zimbabwe's far north near the border with Mozambique. A report from Getech lifted gross mean reserves at the Mzarabani prospect on the block to 8.2 Tcf of gas and 250m bbl of condensate. Invictus says it is the largest undrilled gas structure onshore Africa.
