The Vitol led consortium hoping to buy Petrobras' high calibre producing assets in Nigeria may get less than they wanted. The Vitol/Africa Oil Corp/Delonex group was rumoured to be the lead bidder with an offer of around US $2.5 Bn for Petrobras Africa. This brings with it stakes in the Agbami, Akpo, Egina and Preowei fields.
