AOC increases exposure ahead of wildcat rush

Africa Oil Corp (AOC) is looking to take part in up to seven wildcats offshore the continent by late next year and has bought another US $18m stake in African Energy to increase its exploration exposure. AOC is most notable for its 25% interest in Tullow's Lokich-ar Basin fields in Kenya although it is also currently looking to buy its own producing assets.
