Eni takes over Angola pre-salt with LNG and exploration hopes

Eni has taken over a pre-salt block onshore Angola as part of a more wide ranging deal potentially including LNG and joint exploration with Sonangol. The onshore Cabinda North block was previously operated by Sonangol but Eni has increased its stake from 15% to 48% and taken over control.
