China's CNPC has made a large new oil discovery in South Sudan.The find,on the Adar prospect in Block 3,has initially been pegged at 300m bbl but appraisal drilling is ongoing.South Sudan's Oil Minister,Awow Daniel Chuang,said:”We are looking at over 300m reserves with the hope of more discoveries because there are two more wells that are under review.”We are now preparing to start constructing an inland crude pipeline to the main export pipeline which evacuates crude via Port Sudan at the Red sea for export and shipments will commence in the last quarter of 2020.”
