MODEC Senegal push pays off with Woodside FPSO confirmed

MODEC has been confirmed as the winner of the FPSO FEED for Woodside's SNE project off Senegal. As previously revealed by AOG, the Japanese firm has been the lead contender for some time over final rival SBM. All the major contractors have been vying hard to take the early spoils in the Woodside and BP projects in Senegal and Mauritania as they hope to get in early to a region where workloads could grow - as MODEC previously did in Ghana.
