Maurel & Prom has suspended development drilling on acreage in Gabon although it will go ahead with less costly work. The firm, owned by Indonesia's Pertamina, had been continuing development drilling at its 25,000 b/d Ezanga permit in Gabon with seven wells drilled last year. However, it has now immediately suspended drilling and also halted planned exploration.
