Tanzania will finally start negotiations with Shell and Equinor for its LNG project this month with a deadline set for September. Commissioner for Energy Innocent Luoga said the two companies had now agreed to negotiate the host government agreements (HGA) separately although they will both provide gas to a single LNG plant.
