AGM is ready to drill the first of two wildcats in its deepwater acreage off Ghana immediately after parliament ratified a revised petroleum agreement. The company holds the South Deepwater Tano (SDWT) block and the revision commits it to four wells. It has immediately taken the Maersk Viking drillship, which has just completed with Aker in the neighbouring Deepwater Cape Three Points block, for two wells with options for two more.
