Lekoil promises Nigerian projects boost

Lekoil is once again promising this will be a transformational year for its Nigerian assets with a ramp-up in onshore production, appraisal of the deepwater Ogo field and farm-down of other nearby deepwater acreage. The company operates the Otakikpo field which is onshore in OML 11 and producing around 5,300 b/d. Lekoil is hoping to start the next phase, involving five more wells, to reach production of 20,000 b/d.
