Madagascar has suspended its licensing round only shortly after opening it on the orders of the newly elected government.Former Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina beat his rival and predecessor Marc Ravalomanana in the presidential election right at the end of last year.In a move that will do nothing to attract future investment,he last week told the Ministry of Mines and Strategic Resources(OMNIS)to suspend the 44 block round that only began in November.
