Eni mulls delay amidst Angola shallow awards

With some contract winners having already been theoretically decided, Eni and Angola's ANPG have met to discuss whether to delay the two platform Northern Gas Complex (NGC) project. As first revealed by AOG last year (see 24 October), Eni was inviting interest for the development of the shallow water Quilu-ma and Maboquiero fields via two new platforms and 14 wells. Bidding has been ongoing since with Saipem unsurprisingly tipped for some of the major contracts but others still open and undecided.
