June sees 5th West European car sales gain in first half

This June, despite there being at least one fewer working day in some countries, new car sales in Western Europe still topped last year's same month levels by 1.4 per cent, according to provisional Acea compiled car sales numbers. June's small advance in sales, the 5th gain in six months, brings West Europe's cumulative car sales total to 7.8m after 6-months, up 3.7 per cent over last year's comparative total.
