At present, the investments in agricultural projects concerned with emerging technologies hove attracted increasing amounts attention. The determination of reasonable investment schemes is the key to achieving successful investments in emerging agricultural technologies. The investment decision-making processes regarding emerging agricultural technologies ore characterized by multi-dimensional and fuzziness theories, These processes have resulted this type of multi-attribute decision-making method with multi-dimensional and fuzzy attribute information, and hove become a hot research topic in this domain. The evaluation information used in making the investment decisions for emerging agricultural technologies has exhibited multiple attributes which ore difficult to quantify. Accordingly, this study proposed a novel investment decision-making model based the information entropy of the interval numbers in a grey target theory, and a possibility degree, First of all, the weighted mathematical averaging operator of the interval grey numbers was proven using the basic operational principle in a grey 'farget theory, Then, a calculation model of the attributes' weights was developed based on the information entropy theory. Then, a ranking criterion which determined the priority order of the alternative investment schemes was designed, based a possibility degree model. Finally, the investments in emerging agricultural technologies in a certain region were selected in this study for on empirical analysis, The results showed that the multi-attribute decision-making method, which was hosed on the information entropy of interval grey numbers and possibility degrees, could successfully reduce the effects of the interval grey number information on the decision-making results, improve the reasonability in calculating the attributes weights, enhance the comprehensiveness in the conking of the alternative investment schemes, and eventually achieve a reasonable investment decision-making process in a fuzzy information environment.
