Cluster Formation with Forwarding Direction at Multi-Hop Clustering Model in a Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要

In a wireless sensor network, energy efficiency is an important factor to prolong the network lifetime. Many proposed papers recommend multi-hop clustering model in a wireless sensor networks for energy saving. In this paper, to minimize the forwarding distance from sensor nodes tobase station, we propose a cluster formation with forwarding direction at multi-hop clustering model that it forms cluster member within not all transmission ranges but outer region members to forwarding direction.
