摘要

This research was designed to investigate Inhibition Efficiency (IE) of formic acid and oxalic acid inhibitors on CaCO_(3) scale formation of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger (STHE). In this experiment, STHE operated as lineair flow model (LF) and cross flow model (CF). Inhibitionefficiency was analyzed through the method of Kirboga and resulted that all of the acid successfully inhibit calcium scale but formic acid had better inhibition efficiency.
