In a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, in which in a housing element space there is a package of pipes of several pipes with at least one tube plate, which is outwardly limited by the surface of the housing element and has a longitudinal axis passing in the center of the housing element, the location of pipes in the pipe package is determined by the pipe reflector, which has a pipe-free inner channel around the longitudinal axis and a pipe-free outer channel between the outer edge of the pipe package and the surface of the housing element, pipe reflector between the internal and external channels has at least one connecting zone through which, during operation of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger, a fluid enters the space of the housing element and/or exits the space of the housing element.;EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of uniform distribution of gas during the flow of the pipe package.;23 cl, 31 dwg
